Tag Archives: American Reunion

Another month begins and another week passes and I must say that this year is getting really interesting with new trailers released. While we are all very much focused on new Tim Burton project with Johnny Depp, the director’s new animation is also coming out. Also, we learn that there is life after Superbowl, however, we are still stuck with the same superheroes. Just with more clips from them. So, ladies and gentlemen, here they are: The trailers of the week:

1.  Frankenweenie

Tim Burton never rests. Frankenweenie is another animation both written and directed by Burton, looking a little like black and white version of The Corpse’s Bride. It looks cheerful enough to be PG (at least in the trailer), however, the lack of colours might be a little surprising for the younger audience that has been recently overfed with 3D.

2. Turn Me On, Dammit!

I like risky, European movies even when they don’t turn out that well. Turn Me On, Dammit! finally shows female sexuality without taboo and with sense of humour.

3. The Deep Blue Sea

One of the most awaited movies of the year, the Deep Blue Sea looks like a homage to classic love stories. With its beautiful direction and outstanding performances, it almost screams ‘Oscar’. Keep an eye on this one- it will be talked about.

4. American Reunion

Warning! This film, no matter how it turns out, has such a strong sentimental value for the humanity that simply cannot be ignored. If you haven’t seen the original, be doomed.
